Nasilni ekstremizam i mladi: od dezinformacije do radikalizacije

CeSID će realizovati 16-mesečni projekat (2023-2024) čiji je opšti cilj da doprinese umanjenju sklonosti mladih prema nasilnom ekstremizmu kroz istraživanje, zagovaranje i edukaciju. Kroz set različitih aktivnosti podeljenih u četiri komponente (istraživanje, zagovaranje, umrežavanje mladih i kampanja) projekat ima za cilj da dobije uvid u percepciju (nasilnog) ekstremizma i spremnosti da se on prihvati među mladima, zagovara usvajanja, izmene i usaglašavanja nacionalnog strateškog okvira u oblastima bezbednosti, sprečavanja terorizma i huliganizma, mladih i javnog informisanja (medijske i informacione pismenosti), radi na umrežavanju i izgradnji kapaciteta mladih i omladinskih/lokalnih organizacija iz tri različita regiona Srbije, kao i da sprovede kampanju za širenje svesti o (nasilnom) ekstremizmu, dezinformacijama i važnost medijske i informacione pismenosti u kontekstu ekstremizma.

Projekat se implementira uz podršku regionalnog projekta SMART Balkans – Civilno društvo za povezan Zapadni Balkan koji doprinosi jačanju participativnih demokratija i euroatlantskih integracija na Zapadnom Balkanu kroz osnaživanje organizacija civilnog društva i mreža OCD za jaču i aktivniju ulogu u stvaranju mirnih i inkluzivnih društava za održivi razvoj u Albaniji, Bosni i Hercegovini, Kosovu , Crnoj Gori, Severnoj Makedoniji i Srbiji. SMART Balkans – Civilno društvo za povezan Zapadni Balkan implementiraju Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) i Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) a finansijski podržava Ministarstvo vanjskih poslova Kraljevine Norveške.

CeSID will implement a 16–month project (2023-2024) in order to contribute to reducing the tendency of young people towards violent extremism through research, advocacy and education. Through a set of different activities divided into four components (research, advocacy, youth networking and campaign), the project aims to gain insight into the perception of (violent) extremism and the willingness to accept it among young people, advocate the adoption, changes and harmonization of the national strategic framework in the areas of security, prevention of terrorism and hooliganism, youth and public information (media and information literacy), works on networking and capacity building of young people and youth/local organizations from three different regions of Serbia, as well as to implement a campaign for spreading awareness of (violent) extremism, as well as misinformation and the importance of media and information literacy in the context of extremism.

This project is being implemented in the framework of SMART Balkans – Civil society for shared society in the Western Balkans, which contributes to strengthening participatory democracies and Euro Atlantic integrations in the Western Balkans by empowering civil society organizations and CSO networks for stronger and active role in creating peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia. The SMART Balkans – Civil society for shared society in the Western Balkans is implemented by Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM)  The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
